Studio 101 MediSpa opened its doors in 2012, but Louise Gendron’s passion for beauty began over 30 years ago. Originally a full-service hair and esthetics studio, Studio 101 evolved into a modern MediSpa with state-of-the-art treatments to meet the growing needs of its clientele.

Most clients describe the sensation as a quick snap, like a rubber band against the skin. It’s well-tolerated, and we use cooling techniques to enhance your comfort.
Hair grows in cycles, so multiple sessions are needed to target all follicles. Most clients need 6–8 sessions for optimal results.
Both target hair follicles with light energy, but IPL uses a broad-spectrum light while laser uses a single wavelength. IPL is excellent for larger treatment areas and offers skin rejuvenation benefits as well.
Cryolipolysis is a non-surgical treatment that targets and freezes fat cells, which are then naturally eliminated by the body over time. It’s commonly used on the stomach, thighs, love handles, and more.
Yes. Cryolipolysis is Health Canada-approved and has been extensively tested. There’s no downtime, and side effects are minimal—typically some temporary numbness or redness.
You may begin to see changes in as little as 3 weeks, with full results typically visible after 2–3 months as your body metabolizes the frozen fat cells.
The Luminous Facial is designed to hydrate, detoxify, and brighten your skin. It’s great for reducing fine lines, dullness, and signs of fatigue—perfect before special events or as part of a regular routine.
For IPL, avoid tanning or waxing for at least two weeks prior. For Cryolipolysis, wear loose clothing and stay well-hydrated. We’ll provide full pre-treatment instructions when you book.
